Hey hi folks! My next book is coming soon!

I've been mentioning a Cat Wishes project, and it's going to take the form of an illustrated short story collection—a bunch of light-light-novels, if you will. Much like Substitute Familiar Stories did, it'll collect my recent shorts Therapy Catgirl Tabby and Tora's First Day, along with some other never-before-seen stories and new art as well! It's currently in the final stages of editing. Tentatively titled Cat Wishes Stories, it should clock in at the same size as Cat Wishes (64 pages) and feature the same saddle-stitch design for the print edition.

As a print edition means crowdfunding, I've been looking at Kickstarter alternatives ever since they decided to embrace crypto and lost all their accumulated goodwill. The frontrunner so far is Crowdfundr, especially since the the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo (MICE) has just announced a partnership with them. I'll keep you posted as to where things go from there, but you can expect the usual series of events in the near future:

• Cat Wishes Stories is released to Book Club patrons and above, replacing Plant Lamp as the free light novel for those tiers
• a short time later, Cat Wishes Stories is released digitally on itch & kindle
• the Cat Wishes Stories print run crowdfunding campaign takes place
• books are printed and sent to backers
• Cat Wishes Stories is released on my physical goods shop
