This is the official poster of the fourth PAX Rumble, which I worked on over the course of two weeks, on and off. I was in a complete rush by the end, however, and finished the final pass in a single grueling day. I am against crunch in all its forms, and here I'm sad I had to resort to it. I'm sure the final product - while way cool - would've been better had I prepared better and left myself more time to work on it. Specifically, I would've loved to have had the time to experiment more with the way the faces in the screens were depicted.

But I did come out of it with a better understanding of my limits, and hope to get the next one done in a much better time frame.

This poster was also an interesting lesson in colors! The original proof was so dark that the green and black were nearly indistinguishable; I went back and made the greens lighter, and basically printed those blind due to lack of time. Thankfully, the final result came out well - if a tiny bit lighter than I would've liked. But this did result in making the poster more easy to sign with a black sharpie, which came in handy at the convention itself!
