Good gosh, running a Kickstarter—even a small one—takes a lot out of you.

It lasted only two weeks, but the Kickstarter for the print edition of Cat Wishes ended at 879% funded and that's amazing, holy crap! Being a light novel author is now a thing I can do, and that's... more than I thought I could hope for, honestly! Your support here on Patreon helps me put a roof over my head and keep the lights on, and if I can release books at a reasonable pace, I might have a shot at reaching some sort of stability for the first time in my adult life. I'm unbelievable grateful.

And I get to write gender-feelsy books, too!

I'm working with a few artists for some of my upcoming books, now that I know a little better what to expect in terms of sales. I'm really excited about some of the team-ups that are going to happen, and I plan on giving you folks sneak peeks when I can! :D

Writing-wise, I'm wrapping up Substitute Familiar soon; it'll go to editing, and I'll be laying it out and illustrating it. It's a bit on the longer side, so I'll see what I can do since I have a pretty unflinching page count; I might end up going with fewer, but more detailed and complex, illustrations. I'll keep you posted!

(Also I'm streaming Monster Hunter World these days, in case that's something you like. It's my first one and goodness gracious it's a lot of fun.)

Thanks again for your support; I'm amazed I can actually do what I love and keep pushing myself forward as a writer and artist. I literally wouldn't be here without you. Let's keep making wonderful things together! 💙
