Just wanted to cover a few things in a quick update post as we're in pretty hard crunch mode right now;

  • The next demo will be for the Fire Level, and will come out October 31st; it'll be back to the $5 level pledges to access it.
  • Fuyarinpa is currently working on a long list of the remaining music, so expect some of that in upcoming posts (since some of it will finally NOT be True Final Boss music, as that's mostly done now!)
  • The survey I promised to do about the Discord group (which you can join by going to https://discord.gg/puXrfSm) and the last demo in general should be up sometime this week.
  • I've just been grinding away at script stuff, so nothing really new to report there.
  • Frouge has been at work doing the new mechanics for the Fire Level, some of which I'll get into in a post next week if anyone's interested.
  • Triangulate has finished all the Fire Level tilework designs and background parallax scrolling, and has moved onto the artwork for the Bad Endings for the game (not the game over endings, the literal end-game bad endings).

That's about it for this post; I really wish I could share with everyone all the really awesome spoiler-based stuff we've been working on behind the scenes, but I figure you'd all rather enjoy it when you experience it for the first time in-game!

Think I have said this before but please do not "crunch", take your time and make sure you are happy with the work. Do not burn yourselves out

I agree with Nathan Phoenix, this game looks like it is going to be amazing when its finished. Everything i have seen and all the demos I have played make me want the game even more. That being said take you time, don't let it fizzle you out, and make sure everyone is mentally preped to be at their best, cause mental health is important.
