Check out this new adult game project from my friend A Memory of Eternity, called Memoirs of a Battle Brothel. It’s a cyberpunk tactical turn-based RPG with mechanics inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics and D&D 5e.

You can support development and join the 4+ hour closed beta here on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/amemoryofeternity. A free, 2-hour long demo is available!

Here is a peek at some of the features currently in the game, as well as some features that are planned for our final release:

  • Create Your Own Character: Choose your background, goals, and more!
  • Optimize Your Skills & Abilities:  Four different classes, 12 subclasses!
  • Manage A Brothel: Add or upgrade facilities, hire new staff!
  • Engage In High-Stakes Diplomacy: Factions react to your actions!
  • Romance Your Partners: Sexy encounters with your team members await!
  • 20+ Hour Narrative-driven Story: Your choices matter!

Combine the Companions from Firefly, the girls of old town from Sin City, a dash of Shadowrun and The Last Sovereign, and this is what you get.

So far the ones I have found to be worthwhile are - Anon 42 (super metriod, every 2 months) - Kalyskah Team (vampires/the witcher, 2 months) - Lord Arioch (visual novel/base building every month) - Sakimi Chan (no game, just anime paintings, every 2 weeks) - Team Guilty Force (ror game, slow to update) - The Future Fragments Team (megaman 1 or 2 months) - Sierra Lee (Final Fantasy RPG every 2 months) - Maverik (slave maker, slow to update) - DerelictHelmsman (demihuman monster rancher, every month)

That's because patreon is becoming more of a puritan website. I won't be surprised if they try to get rid of porn all together. Best to go to Subscribestar.

Patreon has went on record saying that their site is more of a storefront, and shouldn't be used as an advertising place; for that reason, and to avoid getting penalized by credit card processors and being branded as an adult site (which would increase processing/transaction fees so high that the site would collapse), they avoid searching like that. Creators are told to do advertising offsite and drive traffic to Patreon, rather than the other way around. As far as Patreon becoming more puritan, that's not their choice; that's the credit card processors/providers. PayPal has no way to go against this, either. Subscribestar has no PayPal option, and easily 70-80% of our backers come from PayPal, so moving there would shut them all out. Additionally, while Subscribestar currently has probably less than 1% of Patreon's userbase, if they got popular like Patreon is, those same restrictions would be forced on them (or Visa/Mastercard would simply pull their processing capability, which would make the site have to shut down overnight due to lack of funds). Also, given that adult content makes up less than 10% of the income on the site for Patreon (and adult games are even less), they could wipe us off the map at any point and not lose any sleep over it, so the fact they keep us on when it's a huge risk for them, for thier shareholders, for their processing fees (and that they have a forum setup just for adult content creators to voice concerns/get problems fixed) is a pretty strong sign they want to keep adult content on but are getting thier hand forced by forces out of their control.

and that is kinda bad.basically considering your product as lesser because it has sexual content. as if porn doesnt sell. but i would follow creators i pledged to anywhere. i dont use paypal

FutureFragments

that's appreciated a lot that you'd follow them, unfortunately though a lot of other people would not (and that's not blaming them; some people just simply don't want to use anything but paypal and that's completely fair)
