STEAM & DISCORD REMINDER

As a reminder, we really need your support with people wishlisting the game; the more wishlists we get, the higher up in the algorithm we go!

There's also a pretty robust community over at Discord, too; https://discord.gg/puXrfSm

NEW MUSIC

Remember that True Final Boss Phase 1 song we posted back in April? Well, there was something I wasn't being honest about with that. Mainly, that it wasn't the final version of the song.

See, something we've been planning for a long, long time, was that we wanted to get a certain well known, professional metal guitarist to do the guitar tracks for all of the true final boss songs.

We're not going to reveal who this guitarist is yet because we want them to be able to do it on their own terms (and they will reveal it eventually), but a few days ago they got us their guitars for Phase 1, so here's the unmastered version of Phase 1 with his guitars in!

MORE STEAM CLARIFICATIONS + THIS MONTH'S DEMO

A few notes here;

  • First - we will be revamping the Steam Page (we've already fixed the info on the page) by changing out the screenshots and making a new trailer to better fit the new Adults Only branding on the page, so we'll make a post about that when it's all polished up.
  • Second - we've begun translating the Steam page into a number of languages through the help of people on the Discord; we've already got it setup for Czech, Danish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Latin America), and Turkish. A lot more languages are coming too! (To clarify, this is only for the Steam page, not the actual game's texts.)
  • Third - we've decided to push the game's release date to November, 2020. The reason for this change is because both setting up for Steam took longer than we thought, and because we absolutely do not want to be a single day late, so we're giving ourselves that extra month of leeway to be absolutely sure we can accomodate for any snags in development.
  • Fourth - we're going to have no demo this month, and instead move v0.47 to July 7th. v0.47 will also be a demo of the Ice Level, as we felt doing a demo of the Electric Level would be somewhat pointless at this point because there's not too much that'd change on it. Doing this will give us more time to crunch out content instead of having to prepare things for the monthly demo, etc.
  • NOTE:  - IF YOU BACKED THE PATREON THIS MONTH (May) OR NEXT MONTH (June) YOU WILL GET v0.47 IN YOUR PATREON INBOX, AND ALL PAST DEMOS ARE ACCESSIBLE ON THE ACTIVITY FEED -

------------------------------------

We hope these changes and updates all make sense to you; as always, for all these years, we've extremely appreciated your support and patience sticking with us, and we're going to do our best to deliver the game at the quality you've been expecting by year's end.

Thank you all so much again, seriously.

Awesome!! It's hard to hear the guitar over the organ-like sounds, but as a metal lover I might be a bit biased when it comes to which instruments I think should be the loudest. So excited for the proper playthrough!

FutureFragments

I should note this isn't the FINAL final version of it; we still have to master the instruments, and I do agree that the guitar should be more prominent, so that's definitely coming :D

Question, how do you wishlist something and NOT have it show up with friends, family, etc.? I mean, i think this is good content, but I don't need my brother to know what kinds of games I dabble with in between Hunt Showdown and total war, ya know?

FutureFragments

You'd have to hide your wishlist and friends stuff entirely, which sucks, but we can't do too much about that unfortunately :( We will have the game for sale on a lot of other sites though!

Dee

Seems like a feature Steam should think about with the induction of all these adult games coming out

FutureFragments

They should, but unfortunately we're pretty low on the totem pole in terms of getting them to listen to us :P
