Weekly update, we have a lot of stuff going on that I'm not super sure where to start. So we'll go bit by bit, starting with Jikage Rising. We have the first draft for the map of the village for Arc 3, it's rough, to say the least, but I've given some feedback to the artist and we are tweaking it a bit more so it looks more consistent and less silly.
So far I asked for some adjustments and some changes in style for some buildings, there are also some buildings there were missing. If you guys see anything that's out of place or weird or needs tweaking, feel free to let me know!
On a separate note, Dungeons and Tavern (I really need to find a better name for it), also had some updates. As mentioned before, I'm outsourcing some of the sprite work and map design to make it better than what I could make, considering the feedback I got for Nano-Control about my mapping skills haha.
This is a rough view of what the town is like! Which looks pretty good I think! So yeap yeap! Do let me know what you think.
On a sad note, the sprite artist bailed, so but I got a new guy on the job who has a good rep, but significantly more expensive. Which kinda irks me but what can you do, shit happens when you try to make something I guess. So there will likely be some inconsistency in terms of sprites in the first release, but we'll switch those out with proper ones when they are done, kinda like the early days of Nano-control I guess.
