Heya guys! How are y'all doing! I'm dancing on the line of dreaming and being awake as usual, it's awesome here, colours can talk. On a serious note, hope you guys are doing great haha. Anyway, things are going smooth-ish as per normal! I doing my rounds checking up on progress for the artists and the coders as usual, also discussing some stuff and concepts with the players on discord as well, so jump in if you feel like it! 

One of the things that we were discussing were the mission system in arc 2 of Jikage Rising, it seems like the general census is that most players don't find it too engaging, while I'll try to improve the system  with more scenes and a better interface, I think it might be better for it to remain a "passive" mechanic while I add in something that involves a bit more engagement from you guys, like, something you guys can control and such. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions yeah, or if you guys just want to do the whole "turn based rpg system" thing that we had in arc 1 yeah!

That aside, I'm feeling that I might be starting to deviate from stuff you guys have in mind, I'll probably have a survey set up soon, mostly to get a gauge of how I'm doing, what you guys would like to see more, potential future projects and stuff like that. It should be pretty fun, might add in a reward of sorts for completing the project.

Anyway, here's the stuff that I'm working on as well as the release dates as usual:

-Another threesome scene(?)

Jikage Rising (ETA: v1.09 18th September for Patrons, v1.08 4th September for the Public)

-More animated scenes for Konoha girls
-Konoha destroyed maybe
-Intro for new main targets?

Honestly I would like the turn base battle back, that was very engaging.

same. it wasn't difficult per se, but I didn't mind that. it was a nice interactive game moment that I played way more of than was needed just because I liked the break of playing like a normal game.

Quick question is there any chance of you also adding some of the sound kunoichi as a way to slightly weaken orochimaru's forces plus I find tayuya and kin kinda sexy plus you could have it so sakura dominates kin and temari enslaves tayuya

I would love to see something for the MC to do besides lazing around for the day a return to the battle system and stat improvement is what i was thinking but really anything that gives the day morethan send girls and end day

i would like to see a system that shows you why levels for you or the others matter because right now there seems to be no point for leveling you or others

Well i just kinda miss what we had in arc 1, cuz atm it just feels like u did all that training to overthrow tsunade and afterwards (for now) that training means nothing at all, so it kinda makes the training to beat tsunade (imo) less impactful

Bringing back the mission system for the MC would be good with your skills carrying over and using the new multiclone and teleportation jutsus in combat. I also wondered what the A and S rank missions would be since B was the highest we could go. Some balance between passive and active missions would be of interest for me since I like sending my girls out to do my bidding. I don't want to overwhelm you so if I had to pick one thing, it would be missions with the MC.

I honestly think the mission system would be a good idea for a resource mechanic, rather than a progression mechanic. Like, it could be utilized for the set of costumes I imagine arc 2 will have eventually, and those unlocks could also be accompanied by their own scenes. That way, it's not vital, in order to complete the game, but it does make a fun side-project for those who seek a more completionist experience, or a full gallery.
