The sheer terror on Ashley's face in the panel - she can't run, can't fight and can't bargain. That's the look of a cornered animal hoping that there is some mercy in the predator before they're gutted like a fish.

Ashley's face in panel three--excellent portrayal of terror. Also, if wrecking a house was a video game, triple bonus for hurling a sofa into the fireplace with one hand while simultaneously smashing a table. But now the moment of truth. Outside of a nightmare we've had no confirmed human kills in story by Sue. I'm sure it will happen sooner or later, but if it starts with her best friend, that's a bad sign for how this ends for everyone.

The one speck of hope I have is that Sue picked her up - why not just kill her? Of course...Eddie also picked up Terry.
