Love the mood! Im suddenly imagining what it would be like if the wolfs mind vindictivly purposely destroyed her carefully set aside clothing to spite her for trying to keep it down. Could be a fun idea to explore elsewhere.

There was a female werewolf novel from I think the 90s in which this sort of thing happened. I can't remember the name right now.

I like the title- its got me thinking, what's unexpected? Doesn't she change at all? Can she control herself? Is she twice the size on the full-full moon? Does mom come home and reveal she's also a werewolf and hasn't been working 'double shifts'? Good suspense.
