Main menu rework (Patreon)

I was just looking at our first screen / main menu and thought, man does this look shitty.

It's the first thing players see and I have black screen with "logo" thrown together in GIMP in a few minutes. One of the worst intro screen in gaming. Why didn't you say anything?

Anyway, the point is, if you have more design sense than me and have an idea how players should be greeted when they open the game, please do share it with me. Comments, private msg, mail, wherever you can find me.

I'm just devoid of any ideas, so i have to turn to you. It's not a contest or anything, I'll just steal your suggestions like I always do lol.

It's a very low priority issue coz you're not on the intro screen a lot, but man it should look better.

Do a splash screen, even a unity splash screen ! In a school project I might has made the worst tower defence ever but I had a splash screen with the engine logo and a fade to black transition it looked somehow way more professional. LMAO. (It's a funny story don't take this advice entirely seriously)

Low/Lowish effort suggestion: Logo in the center with all the options around it in circles (to avoid boxed text) ...background can be parts of the various locations in game split with black lines or just models in various outfits and poses.

Better first impression attracts more players which brings in cash which helps you to focus in making a better game?

randomly generated models popping up on the side would work with that layout yea. you should get a semi as soon as you open the game lol

On another note, is there any plans for semi-removed clothes? Like ripped stockings , lifted up skirts, dropped jeans etc. This will be quite effort/time consuming but it would add immersion to the scenes.

i have some but only dresses. like nurse outfit, maid also removes the skirt, and few more. dropped jeans would only work for a special event of sorts with 1 sex position in mind. coz wants you start moving, there's no way to make that clothes stay on the right layer.

it would be nice to have tho, albeit for one event. I'll see what i can do. standing doggy and missionary with her legs up shouldnt be any problem

Hmm... I think, if you looking to 'rebrand', you need to define and design a gorgeous female character, and use her in the main menu (Needless to say in a nice, revealing attire). If she could be there for a short tutorial, that'll giver her some identity for potential newcommers. Maybe the first actress you get after the tutorial? Personally I love your game, I know how deep and enjoyable it has become, each version having its identity (still love 0.75 to this day) but yes, first impressions matter, and I feel like giving a defined, likeable head-figure through a character may very well work in your favor. Or how about her becoming the player's personnal assistant past a tutorial? But my personnal bottom line is that I think P.E. needs a 'Figure'

i've been thinking of making a tutorial/story character long time ago. it was just too much writing to make it happen. maybe i'll do it soon. the idea was to create someone connected to the property you've inherited and a guide through early game. making her a PA once your at that point of the game is also a good idea. i could never decide on the design tho lol.

And this is where a poll is needed. With a poll, we can guess the average likeness of players, if they do it seriously. And then, as you gave us the mod tool, we can handle the creation and send it to you, based on the poll results. We could contribute to help a game we love grow. How about that? Tutorial itself can be short (how do I record a movie, how do I know abvout my finances, what to do after my first scene with that girl...) As for her traits, I think Loyal is a must, passionate maybe...
