Hey all. Long post ahead.

So over the weekend I was working on some optimization and the city map. Body parts are all preloaded into memory. Switching between scenes should be faster now.


The "main" feature for the next update is skill system. 

The attributes are all raised to 100.  So with 4 attributes (Beauty, Intellect, Sex Skills and Fitness) their sum is 400. I've made that for every 40 att points girl gets 1 skill point which you can spend(Number of skill points may change)

There are few universal skills but once you reach certain point you can choose more specialized skills. 

There are 9 "classes" right now. Every class has unique skills. Some are focused on popularity, some on drugs, some on fans. So you choose in what department you want her to shine and put points into it.

That way you can pick up a low tier girl and guide her to become a super star. This is not a RPG so don't expect dungeons&dragons level of depth but I think there's enough variety to make every girl unique in a way.

I also want to include traits. So based on her traits(cute, perverse, clever,
...) she'll get additional bonus to her class skills. (We'll see about that)


BUT not every girl can be a superstar can she. So new (important) attribute is introduced: Potential.

Potential goes from 0-100 and it's almost a hard cap limit to girls attributes. So if her potential is 50 you will not be able to raise her attributes much above that. 

There will be girls with high attributes and low potential. So if you don't care about training you can just pick those kind of girls.


Since potential is important we NEED to change how recruiting works. This is in roadmap for v0.72 but I really hope I'll manage to include it in v0.71 since it works so well together.

So there will be 3 ways to recruit a girl. 

- Picking her up from the city

- Go to casting agency

- Let your PA search for them

Every choice has good and bad things. 

Picking her up will get you moderate price + wide range of potential and attributes.

Girls from casting agency are expensive but you'll usually get what you want. Potential may not be as high tho.

PAs will find low attribute girls but with very high potential and low price. So ideal for training.

So it's up to you to choose if you want established girls or train them to stardom yourself.

I think all this will add nice layer of strategy since you wont be able to just put out an ad and be done with it. High potential girls will be rare but very valuable to your company.

i love the idea i would like to see how manage to execute it, have you thought about having a win condition bult into the game in addition to snadbox game we have now.

I have thought about it, but for the time being it will stay sandbox. Would be a waste of time if i was working on campaign if not all features are even in the game. It will be at some point tho. Would love to have something like in the old tycoon games where you start with some easy win conditions and work your way through different scenarios, unlocking more and more things as you go. It's something for polls to decide.

What a list! Thanks for all the hard work, PEdev! The Potential system sounds really interesting, looking forward to testing this if it's implemented.

I like skill system concept that you written. But one thing makes me worry. In this system i can see only positive aspect of developing girl skills. There are no places where you will have to think about girl developing strategy. Like before you will have to only click x times and wait for effect. You know... No risk no fun. Next thing new attribute "Potential". It's a good idea but it cause situation that every guy will want to "hunt pokemon :)" with 100 potential. Fine but what about 99 or 98 .. 95%? You know stats is important but usually people prefer other things like skin color, age etc.. If player after long searching meet young white girl with 98% potential it can give him something irritation. Try something different instead. Create potential skill but change that how it's working a little. Change the difficult of training depending on girl's potential. For example under 50% potential + 200% training efficiency. Between 50-100% 100%training efficiency. Mote than 100% potential 25% training efficiency. At this way you will leave decision to player and you don't have to create every later game girl with 100 potential. Another option create system that allow increase girl potential with risk.

I wanted to do some negative effects, but making a system like that would require so much time and thinking. I don't have time to do that. Maybe I will include it, idk, we'll see when the players actually try it out. There is some tolerance in potential. Few %. So 98 potential girl could still be trained to the max(Need to find the right balance). So it's not like you absolutely need 100 potential girl. Also some skills bump potential, as a matter of fact, one whole class is dedicated to potential and training so thats that. But this way you cannot choose other classes which might be more useful. Agree that some risk must be attached to it, but this is for another update. Like going to the competition after you spend god knows how many hours and money training her.

Sound good. Even without negative effect this patch will give game some new interesting aspects. BTW negative effect aren't need much thinking. Some simple time limited RND perks depending on training speed should be easy to implement like burned mentaly or folled with slaw...
