Specialist Class robots like Beauty (and, previously, Manny) are designed to interface with units much smaller than themselves. The big swellings at the base of a Specialist Class robot's, ahem, secondary port are there to ensure that it's a snug fit when it's inserted into the primary port of a smaller unit and prevent any potential leakage of chemical data during the transfer process. 💜
