You've come to know a great deal about Remfrey's kind over the last forty years. You know, for example, that it's usually very difficult to tell when a Telestic Knight is with child, that they often don't show at all. You also know that they don't conceive the same way mortal folk do, that they produce children simply by wanting them. 

After nearly forty years with you, it seems that Remfrey is not only so desperate to bear children for you that he has made himself pregnant, but so desperate that he has produced triplets, a sufficiently hefty brood that he is, at this late stage when he could deliver any day now, very visibly round and heavy. 

He's never looked more beautiful.
