The first in a series of artworks :D

The new chapter has ended up being a little longer than anticipated, so I hope this whets your appetite while I complete it.

The new chapter should be out tomorrow.

EDIT: It seems I've made a liar of myself. Sorry. Still working on it.

Punch Wizards? Meet Shoot Suits

Marcin

They kinda have dicks exposed ;D

Marcin

Capes are for show, caped soldiers have greater visual impact. Like Royal Guard in star wars, when dudes in capes show up you know its on. Edit: come to think off, make Black suits...ohhh.. that would be even better :D

Sheesh, that looks like one primitive arquebus if I have ever seen one. More 1500s than anything.

Slade

how else do you show the enemy that you have massive titanium balls?

deathwatcher

its more for mobility and flexability. if they had a piece come down to cover the balls attached to the main armor it would make moving your legs harder since that piece would keep getting in the way.

I.E

Why is the helmet so tall?

White Neko Knight

They remind me of the Steam Troopers from Steam Boy.

Allen Mainville

The helmet reminds me of something I saw recently in Super Robot Wars 30, but for the life of me I can’t remember who, what or where. That being said though, the overall design screams to me Valkyrie Chronicles somehow, but that might just be because these guys are wearing armor while also wielding guns while fighting against enemies who can take on armies and win. Maybe it’s impractical, but if our protagonist makes tanks, I want them land battleship sized. Punch wizards vs Marmota!

Corb

You're thinking of Heavy Metal L-gaim. Specifically the L-gaim II.

Marcin

Well most of punchwizards cannot beat an army... like the pool Dog lady found out :D

Looks like he's about to narfle the garthok.

Allen Mainville

That’s it, the whole thing does look kinda similar to the L-Gaim Mk-2 minus the crotch wires connecting to the gun.

Arkyrion

It kind of has to be. Armoring the groin has always been a challenge for soldiers throughout history, simply because there are so many moving parts that need space to move. And is this is without accounting for the fact that some of your troops may literally have horse dicks.

AG

anyone have any idea what is going on with BlueFishCake?

bluefishcake

I dare not make promises - for it seems that I am pathetically incapable of keeping them - but I'm trying to get the chapter out in the next few hours.

Cullen M Brewer

I'll be fully honest, what was described from the story, I expected much more practical designs, flat, printed plates that fit together perfectly. But this is still cool as hell.
