Hello everyone! ~~

I hope you are all doing well!

Today I'd like to talk about the upcoming update, the Chapter 2 on Steam and the next game to come! Let's start right away with what many of you have been waiting for:

The next update is still under development, but it's coming soon!
I'm not sure yet when it will be released, but it will be either at the very end of the month, or early next month. All the scenes are finished (and there's going to be more than usual this time) but I still have some dialogue work to do.
So it's nearly finished, but not quite.

There are only a few updates left to finish Chapter 2! ( Maybe 2 or 3 ) and as the end approaches, the game needs to pick up the pace.
So, in the upcoming update, there will be the main story, the employee quest (if you've chosen to pick them up ~ ) and the patreon quest with our dear Jasmine.
And as I said in the title of the newsletter, a new character will be introduced in this update!
( And this will be the last one of this chapter )

As you'll understand, the final updates will include more scenes than usual.


The game's steam page is currently being created.
We're just finishing up the last few images, and it'll probably be online for the update!
( Yeah, as you can see, I got one of Emee's best faces for the steam store thumbnail )

I'm counting on you to make the wishlists explode when the page goes live ( it helps a lot with sales and then I'll have money to make other games :D )
Finally, the game will be released this summer if all goes well :)

After that, we'll move on to the next famous mystery game ~~
(I can't show you any pictures of this game yet, but I promise, soon.)

Damn only a few more updates for chapter 2 left? In feel so much smaller than chapter 1 but hey I can’t complain, anyways good job and keep up the amazing work and hopefully we get tink’s room in one of these upcoming updates

When I replayed Chapter 2 (obviously still incomplete), I was struck by how much contact actually is there. Things feel a lot smaller when you play update after update. That said, Chapter 1 had a lot more heavy lifting to do when it came to flushing out the world. So I think regardless of content size, in many aspects CH1 feels narratively bigger. Whereas in Chapter 2, the principal characters and setting have already been established. So new additions to the world feel more like filling in the details of what's already there.

I'd love to. But it might cost too much x) We're thinking of maybe adding some "voice interaction" like an expression of astonishment or interogation in some dialogues. We're still experimenting with that.

Is there a linux version? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this running on my steam deck even though I was able to get it running fine through lutris and Wine using proton on last gen (before steam release a year or two ago)

Wanted to post here too. Does anyone have any experience getting this to run on steam deck? For some reason I can’t get it to run through lutris using protonqtup, all of the experimental protons, etc

so i found a glitch in the quest to get tools for amandine. if you try to get the tools from Emee but dont have enough money, the tools are still removed from her inventory but you never receive them, making it impossible to finish the quest

It didn't say that the update is coming on the 5th. It's just saying that it's expected to be released during the week of the 5th.

Is the new update out yet? I know it is meant to release for tier 3 subscribers early but since I have an old tier (Centurion Supporter) I wasn't sure if it would release for those with an old subscription early aswell :)

It's out. One thing you can do to check is view the page logged out. Patreon will show all the post titles and a snippet of the text as a preview. Normally if a post is tier locked you can't see it if you're logged in and of the incorrect tier. As to your Centurion Supporter tier, I can't speak to that. But now that it's mentioned in the comments, hopefully Salty01 will clarify.
