Future updates and chapter end in sight! (Patreon)

Hello everyone!
I hope you guys are doing well!

A lot of things to tell you today, and as usual I'll start with the future updates in approach.

Futures Updates:

There are few updates remaining before the end of this chapter, the next big one will be the continuation and end of Rapunzel's corruption. A lot of illustrations are already finished but the quests themselves are still in in progress.

I know it's one of the players' favorite characters, so I spend a lot more time on it. We've been working on it for a few weeks now and I really hope you like the result.  

Before that, I'm thinking of releasing a smaller update that will mostly introduce new desktop customizations.I'm also looking into adding some desk customizations exclusive to the Patrons.

This litte update will arrive in a few days/weeks.  

( I'm thinking about adding some things with Melissandres or another character in this little update but I'm not sure so I don't say it officially ahah ) 


The Characters Replacements:

As I already told you, in order to sell the game on different platforms (Steam for example) we need to replace some characters. It's a long work but I hope it will be profitable in the end.  

( Thanks to the money I get from Patreons, I'm able to have someone to help me with this work, which allows me to continue working on the remaining updates, and therefore continue to publish content to you without extra time. ) 

In addition to that, we take this opportunity to completely redo some scenes and improve a lot of things in game artistically.
We even add new scenes with the final characters. At the moment, Snow White is completely replaced, Tinker too and Anna and Elsa are in progress.

I'm waiting for all this to be a little more solid and sure of myself before showing you the result. The new characters really look amazing and I'm sure you'll love it!

 At the moment one of the artists is working on a beautiful artwork of the game which contains all the characters in very badass poses. ( this will be used as the new main menu and also as the main image on steam for example )

I can't wait to show you this for the future presentation of these famous new characters!  I think that's about all I have to say! ~~

If you have any ideas for future updates, don't hesitate to post them in comments! I'll see you soon for this small update of interior customs and thanks again for your support! It's thanks to you that this game exists and that it will continue to exist in a chapter 2 and 3 ! ahah

Does this mean the patreon version will also have the character replacements? Or will that version keep the disney characters?

Will there be a available mod with the disney designs? Like how ‘Friendship with Benefits’ had a mod containing the original MLP colors.

Office customization is ok, but my reason for going Patreon was exclusive outfits and hairstyles. We have seen very few of those the past several months. Any chance we will get some new clothing content in the near future?

I’ve been playing on my Mac and just started a new file on PC. It has crashed on me twice in one night on PC, I’ve never had any issues on Mac, anyone have any issues with PC version “not responding”?

Patreon specific desktop customizations would be much appreciated. I've suggested more NSFW options for the room, I hope others are as receptive to that. It would go with the theme of the game and would be a nice reward for people who've backed the project to fruition. It's wild how much things have grown for this project. Your patrons have gone up 400% in the last year, and you're definitely able to do a lot more from a production standpoint with thousands of dollars a month pouring in to fund the game!

I think I'm the person who has played this game the most, and I've never had a crash, even as a developer. Renpy is pretty basic and solid.

I'm playing on Android, however after I enter the Patreon code I never see the location for Rapunzel on the map.

A nice update for the Drone part of the game would be the ability to go back 1 space for 1 AP. So many times I overshoot a quest one the drone by 1 space which then wastes a day having t go back and try again. Having the option to go back 1 space for 1 AP would be really nice!

So question, Since you are also working on updating the characters to be safe for sale, does that mean that there will be no more added characters or will any future ones just be safe for sale? I'm fine with it either way but was kinda hopping to maybe see some of the characters that were in the image gallery (I thought maybe they were potently going to be added ya know?).

I believe no more characters will be added for this chapter. Chapter 2 will feature new characters. What I’m unsure on is will Chapter 2 also have the continuation of a couple of the characters from Chapter 1?

For chapter 2, I plan to add at least 1 licensed character that you are all waiting for. ( And this character will surely be Patron-Exclusive. ) But I don't think I'm going to do much more, replacing all the characters in chapter 1 really makes me realize that this is a very long process.

And to answer Romtol, chapter 2 will be in the continuity of chapter 1, there will still be Tinker, the other characters of the headquarters etc.

You could argue that with the backstory of tinker bell and the fact that she’s an AI makes her a whole different character may consider just changing the name slightly

While i do agree with you, unique and custom designs can help set it apart. That, and Salty may not want to go through the cost and hassle of testing out parody laws for their location.

I would agree changing the names of the characters would suffice, as it is a parody as long as you aren't calling them copies of the original IP Disney owns, it should be perfectly fine, as long as it's said they are BASED on them, but not actually them. Then for the most part a bit of changes to outfits, and such should be enough to say it's his own work.

Honestly i love the game and understanding you want to sell it you will need to change the characters, and in doing such having both characters in the game would be immense work. So i prefer the mod idea for retaining og characters. Personal opinion you would need a separate artist to draw the og characters for the mod then could distribute it on f95 or discord. The only part of the game i dont enjoy is the drone expedition. Honestly i hate it with all my soul and fiber of my being. Took me 26 game days to collect "magic balls" almost made me quit the game a few times in the past.

i worked on the brothel rebirth haven game and they did something similar they had a character folder batch that added extra characters for free do to there intention on selling it. OC characters with copyright characters added for free basicaly. but in this one you could do something like another game did. they made it based on My Hero and gave that for free while they used it as the bases for the game they were trying to market.

It's annoying and there is no being good at it the drone is a dice roll it moves however it wants skipping over what you want often it's basically a lootbox mechanic

scroll up is your friend. I can usually grind out a full search, sleep, full search, sleep cycle in less than 1 minute. It's lame, and the cheats don't help much at all, but it's whatever.
