I've heard stories (a lot of them) that Texas is a big "walkup town" so a lot of day of ticket sales. Makes me wonder if the stage setup for this cost them 5-10k in ticket sales. I dont know anything about this stuff works so it very well could be theres no way to do just 5-10k more seats and it would need to be fully open or this. Just curious.

It easily cost them 1000's, maybe even 10,000 or more. Under Vince, stadiums were kinda iffy and they needed to find ways of making 25,000-35,000 seem bigger than it is. Under HHH's creative, things have changed and a chunk of that audience came back or started watching. Plus San Antonio is a great wrestling town and a great Rumble town. WWE is a hot product at the moment when it comes to TV/PPV.
