John Cena's 20th anniversary show was the start of a spike in attendance in the build to SummerSlam. Undoubtedly the build to SummerSlam was a successful one that produced some of the biggest television houses of the year. This past Monday they drew one of their 3 best TV audiences of the year in Houston, TX at Raw. The new build to Clash at the Castle shows a dip in attendance minus 2 Canadian market shows. WWE is known for adding a lot of tickets late so some of these shows have a shot of being above the average, like Detroit and Pittsburgh but so far these shows are underperforming relative to recent shows. Cleveland in particular is a huge drop from a show where they drew 8,000+ earlier in the year for Raw. They have started some buy-one-get-one-free deals for markets like Washington DC which have led to an increase in tickets distributed over the past week.
