A few notes (Patreon)

I'm excited to announce that I'll be adding older shows to the Master spreadsheet (those who are platinum-tiered members have access to this) for both AEW & WWE. It won't be every possible WWE show (since they've done so many and there isn't ticket information available for many of them) but I should have every AEW show added to it within a few months (maybe a lot sooner). 

I recently purchased Pollstar data for both AEW & WWE shows which has opened the door to look into these past shows. Pollstar releases paid attendance numbers and gate information. Not all of that data will come over as I want to review it a bit more. 

On a related note, I will be making some small corrections to past shows. 2 shows, for example, recently changed on the spreadsheet. They were pretty early on when I decided to track every show back in July and admittedly my process for tracking these shows has evolved and improved a ton since then. Would you like to see these corrections posted? My only goal is to get as close as I possibly can to reporting the most accurate numbers. At the end of the day I want this spreadsheet to be a great resource for this type of information. The Pollstar data helped me identify possible errors on my end (and most of them appear to be on shows I tracked very early on) - Brandon Thurston kindly provided me some comparisons of WrestleTix v. Pollstar discrepancies which is what caused me to go down this rabbit hole. It has taken a lot of time to sort through this new information but it's worth the time investment, in my opinion. 

I spent a lot of time yesterday looking into a big discrepancy I noticed with the 1/1/2020 AEW Dynamite: Homecoming show at Daily's place which has always had a figure of 3,900 attached to it. Pollstar has a paid figure of 2,685. In general, both promotions seem to comp around 5% (in some markets its bigger) which would bring the tickets distributed figure to 2,819 for this show. I'm looking into finding video and pictures from those in attendance to confirm it looks like this but those are hard to come by (I have a few so far). Tony Khan did state that tonight's show would be the most attended Dynamite at Daily's Place which confirms what I said earlier about tonight's show surpassing Homecoming from 2020. Sometimes I question if chasing down this older data is worth it (considering not a day goes by without some ticket map changes that I have to stay ahead of) but I think there's tremendous value in it so I'm going to try do add what I feel are worthwhile estimates from the past.
