As I suggested the other day, AEW added 200 seats to section 115, much like they did the opposite side in section 100, all priced at $30 a seat. They also added seats on the Floor (F5) - I had these accounted for already.

There's no new areas to expand with seats at this point (unless section 100 & 115 can add a few seats to every row) but they can and will add seats in the hard cam section 113 on the day of the show. Last time, according to my notes, they added 148 seats there.

Tickets Distributed => 5,669 / 6,180  (92%)

Available Tickets => 511

They are already at the largest setup for this venue that they've ever done. With the hard cam seats and some other random spots, I'm seeing the max capacity being around 6,328.

Do I think they should upgrade to an NBA sized arena in this market? I don't think it's an urgent issue. This venue is perfect for them right now. It's likely far cheaper than a much bigger arena and they are probably making good money off the gate here. If they upgrade and sell 7,000 out of a 13,000+ potential setup, I'm just not sure if it's worth it. Once they start doing an instant sell out here, then yes it's time to upgrade. But nearing 95% of tickets distributed helps create the idea they are a hot ticket here and will cause fans to return in the future. And lastly, this venue sounds great on TV.

I am not sure how they do it in other markets, but in this market the venue is 30-90 minutes from the major city centers of Dallas and Fort Worth. Because of the relatively poor location, it's hard to say if they did one of the larger arenas that are much closer to the larger portion of the metropolitan population, how they would or would not do.

Absolutely agree that was a great take
