As I mentioned earlier, the Supershow scheduled for September 14th in Kennewick, WA, has been canceled. The ticket map left the following message:

The house show had distributed 1,888 tickets as of last week. The last visit in Kennewick did an estimated 5,755 tickets distributed.

Another show has been canceled as well. The Supershow scheduled for the day after in Boise, Idaho, at the Extra Mile Arena, has also been canceled. This show had 2,615 tickets distributed, so it doesn't seem to be due to poor ticket sales. I've been wondering when they would cut back on house shows in certain markets, as Mark Shapiro mentioned many months ago. It's unclear if this is part of that plan or not. A source confirmed that both shows have been canceled but didn't provide any further details.

Only a matter of time before house shows are completely gone.

I think the holiday house shows will stick around since they're big money makers and maybe some bigger market ones but I do agree, many of them may not be around in the near future.

Yeah there have long been reports that WWE actually loses money on their house shows. I know they draw good crowds but I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually just keep the Holiday Tour house shows and scrap the rest.
