I think this photo is a wonderful example that bondage is so much more than a variant of BDSM where it is often about dominating or the pain.
Bondage can be much more. Bondage can bring security, bring you down when you're upset. The rope is there. Supports you and lets you come back down to earth. During a bondage session you can drift into other spheres, but the rope brings you back to reality as well.
