I'd like to know the actual sequence in which you saw these movies. You keep referring to things that come later in the timeline during these earlier films.

I enjoy this reaction. As for Jane they actually are making a Thor 4 movie. It's coming soon. It's Called Thor love and thunder and Natalie Portman in it. Also did you ever get to do the X-Men series? If you haven't I will suggest that you should react to it. Hugh Jackman is amazing as the wolverine. That it. Looking forward to more reaction.

The giant blue box we see in this movie is not the tesseract. It's just the giant power source where Frost giants get power from. The tesseract is completely different. The timeline of the tesseract in MCU is slightly complicated, it comes and goes so many times. Even though Captain America - The first avenger comes in as the 5th movie, technically according to the storyline, it's the first story as it plays out in the 1940s. That's where we see the appearance of the Tesseract for the first time as well. Red Skull losses the tesseract into the ocean. Steve Rogers fights Red skull and drops the plane into the ocean only to wake up in 2011/2012. In those 70 years, SHEILD which is run by Peggy Carter, Howard Stark, later by Nick Fury finds the lost tesseract in the ocean and keeps it safe the whole time. (Not knowing it has an infinity stone inside it). Nick Fury thinks The tesseract is an unlimited power source that can be used for some energy purpose or weapons manufacturing. When Nick Fury finds out that Erik Selvig, the astrophysicist in the movie Thor, has the knowledge to work on this project he calls him up to work (we see that in Thor post-credit scene). Little does he know, Selvig is mind-controlled by Loki and what happens next we see on Avengers :)

Also, Jane, he is NOT called the Ice King.😂 His name is Laufey, King of the Frost Giants and Loki's biological father. Lastly, the blue relic Loki was holding is called the ‘Casket of Ancient Winters’ not the Tesseract.

I know this is pretty old but nobody answered here so I'm going to. When Odin took the hammer at the beginning and stripped Thor of his armor, he wasn't just taking his Lightning abilities. His strength, speed and everything else that Asgardians typically have were all gone too. If even a regular Asgardian had been in that hospital and woke up, he would have killed everyone there relatively easily, same with attacking the S.H.I.E.L.D. compound. We see "regular" Asgardians like Lady Sif and the Warriors Three do insane feets of strength, speed and agility while fighting the Destroyer. Also, in the comics, Sif is Thor's primary love interest. Jane Foster was his love interest for a while but that didn't work out. Sif and Thor were lovers centuries before the comic timeliness started but were forced apart. Though like all Marvel romances, there have been plenty of twists and turns.
