The Beifong sisters are probably two of my favorite characters in LoK. Season 3 and 4 also explain well enough why Toph didn’t have a traditional family. That’s what I like about LoK in general even for good people things don’t always work out, live and people are complicated in the end but it also doesn’t mess with the characters we know/knew and love. Aang spending some more time with Tenzin than the Bumi and Kaya to me makes him more human, we know he loved them all but if one kid would have his abilities when he thought he was the last air bender of corse he’s gonna try to teach him as much about his culture as possible and spend some more time with him. In turn Toph being hands off and letting her girls run wild makes sense too with how her Parents never seemed to take her serious, she went in the opposite direction but slightly over shot the goal too.
