lol i didn't remember fan service (that's how it's called) was THAT much in this episode. Back in the days my GF came out in our bedroom just during that Villeta and students in swimsuit scene, and she freaking talked about it in front of my parents just to make fun of me! That's one of the things that come to my mind when i hear "code geass". Anyway, this episode feels kind of empty compared to the rest of the season. BTW food wars is so full of fan service that it's often categorized as ecchi, but it's for comic relief most of the time. It's a really funny anime. You both really gave me a good laugh tho, thanks for that!

I agree about fw, I think its especially done for many parts of season 1 to try to get a fan base, it goes away to a large degree after a bit and becomes quite a solid anime after maybe the first half or 3/4 of season 1

Also, CG has the issue many anime do where the material they want to present would naturally fit better in a smaller amount of episodes than they actually want to make - in this case, 25 episodes each season when in reality the material would've easily fit and been crisper if done in 22 or 23 episodes

I remember being devastated when the credits started on this episode. I have never wanted to see the next episode in this series more! It was really hard to wait!
