I love how Korra & Tenzin apologised to each other. Not many people know how to apologise.

The creators of the show designed Korra to be Aang's opposite that's why she is so different but if you give her a chance, she comes around and experiences a lot of growth over the series. Where Aang preferred to avoid conflict if possible, she's headstrong and her emotions can overrule her at times (like Zuko's did him). As a monk Aang was heavily spiritual. Korra struggles with the spiritual side of being the Avatar. Aang tried to run away from being the Avatar but Korra accepts it immediately, her entire being since she was four was shaped around being the Avatar so for Korra being that role is all she's ever known as her identity. Also she spent her life confined to one place. Aang's people were gone, Korra's culture and parents are still alive and well in her time. Where Aang had traveled the world and made friends like Bumi in other nations by age 12, Korra has only ever known the Southern Water tribe, so she's very sheltered and oblivious to what the world is like for non-benders and the lower classes. Her only friend in the world is Naga before going to Republic City.
