You're so close to the end ^^ I can't wait for you guys to see it, also Mello's death is important in this. As for why Takada lit it on fire, Light forced her to commit suicide and destroy any evidence of what happened. Takada didn't choose to burn it, Light wrote down on the paper that she committed suicide by burning everything while she was still alive, inside. That moment when she looked up at the ceiling and the heart pound noise sounded, was her being compelled by the death note to go and burn herself alive. Light discovered back near the start that he could make a person die by whatever method he wanted, so long as it was possible within the time allotted to them to carry it out. It's only when you DO NOT specify a cause of death, that the death will be caused by heart attack. Light was deliberately killing the prisoners from heart attacks to draw attention to it and let the authorities know that someone or something was causing them. When Light wants the world to know that Kira killed someone he uses heart attacks, when he's trying to cover his tracks, he uses other methods of disposing of people. I also just like Jane felt sickened to the core once I realized Light had written such a terrible death for someone who obviously loved him. I also agree Light is the worst!

And it really is a good series that is way underrated <3 :)
