So the issue is, even if you have the philosophers stone, that doesn't mean you can just use it to heal. You still need to understand how to heal with it. For example, Dr. Marco can do it. But only people infused with the stone as a life source can become immortal. Well, unless you get killed to the point the stone breaks like lust did.

Also, Kimblee is pretty insane, but he is very philosophical. A lot if what he says is true, but just deranged to live off of.

I love your Fullmetal reaction. :)

"What can be more beautiful than doing a job that puts your soul at risk?! That's what it means to be alive!" - Solf J. Kimblee... I'm glad we got to see more kimblee.. 😁😁😁 That outfit tho!😎😎😎

Xing is adept in healing / bio alchemy. So with the Philosopher's stone, they might research enough to understand how to use the stone to prolong a human's life.

a philosopher's stone is basically an immense source of energy (that energy being the people's souls inside it) . Therefore , it is not an INFINITE source because it depends on the number of people sacrificed to make it . as they explain in the beginning of the show , alchemy has to obey the lax of equivalent exchange : you can't obtain something without sacrificing something equivalent . So for example , you can't create a sword out of nothing : you have to use some metal or mineral and shape them into a sword . HOWEVER , when using a philosopher stone , you're using those souls as sacrifice , so you COULD create a sword out of the energy contained in the stone . Likewise , you can use that energy to heal , but you need to know healing alchemy (which Kimblee doesn't ) , or that healing needs to trigger automatically which is the case for homonculi . That's also the reason why homonculi aren't immortal : their philosopher's stone contains thousands of lives , so in order to kill them for good , their stone has to run out of energy , of "souls" , so you have to kill them thousands of times . Kimblee uses his stone's energy to create huge explosions without the need of anything .
