I've read in other youtube comments that the creators confirmed that they did actually kiss, but I don't have a source for it.

I don't think they kissed since Katara straight up walked away when she realised the exit. She hadn't really see Aang as more than a friend yet. I like Zuko's time in the Earth Kingdom villages. He never really thought about how the Fire Nation had oppressed the world until now. You'll see what he'll learn.

Zuko is probably one of the most well-written television characters I've ever seen. It's hard to excuse his theft of the ostrich-horse, but I find it easy to understand. His new status as a fugitive, from a former prince, is something that he's still trying to grasp. And as Jacky above me stated, he's just starting to see firsthand, from a more outside perspective, how the rest of the world views the Fire Nation. It's a whole new worldview for him.
