YES! Pleeeeeease watch the Ghostbuster franchise with Jane!!! 😩😩😩🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😂. You are kind of right about this one being a bit inconsistent as far as the rules and how they cast the actors from the trilogy in the new roles from film to film. That being said, I don’t think they were suggesting that Lorraine Baines was somehow related to Maggie McFly and therefor creating some kind of twisted, inbred-type scenario in the McFly bloodline 😂…More like just trying to keep Lea Thompson in each entry… I also have a theory that, at least in the script/pre-production stage, they intended on Crispin Glover returning for the sequels, and would have likely played Shamus in Part III and had a bigger part in Part II, but he ultimately decoded to not come back. And, not sure if you’ve been made aware by now or not, but they used a different actor for his brief appearance as an older George in the 2015 scenes of Back to the Future II and as 1985 George at the end of Back to the Future III, and had the stand-in wear a prosthetic mask they made of Crispin Glover, to the point where Glover eventually sued the studio for using his likeness without his permission (which is why George is way in the background in that one scene at the end of Part III and upside down in heavy, aged makeup in Part II). Also, what is really neat about Marty using the front plate of that oven as a make-shift bulletproof vest against Buford Tannen is, not only is it a callback to the first movie where Doc uses his knowledge of the future to wear a vest and survive the attack by the Libyans, but when Marty was in the dystopian version of 1985 in Part II, right before he shuts off the movie Biff is watching in the hot tub with his, uh…stable girls, lol…you see that he is watching a Clint Eastwood spaghetti western where his character does something similar to win a gun duel (Biff even proudly exclaims, “Bulletproof vest!” just before the screen goes black) 😉 As always, loved the reaction, and I’ll reiterate one last time that it would be reeeeally awesome if you guys reacted to the Ghostbusters franchise together…😅🥰.
