Since the first chapter of PBB Legacy William is obsessed with defending his honor, until death, which leads him to the fight at Delight castle, which will change his destiny.

William does not betray his friends, up to now at least he has always behaved well with Dorian and Red, not revealing their secrets (Dorian's homosexuality and the fact that Red frequented their house). He keeps his promise to Betty (even if it's more like extortion/blackmail) and works hard in the Blue Mansion (we see him doing all the household chores with care). Now one question remains…did he take care of his sisters? You will know, and then we will find out why William ran away from home, and why he is so misogynistic, and apparently cold and detached towards women. But I'll tell you about this in the future. Just remember that before running away from home William went to a boys' boarding school, which really exists: Le Rosey, today it is for both sexes but at the time it was only for boys. https://www.rosey.ch/le-rosey/history/

Le Rosey opened in 1880, the year of this flashback! William will go there and study there for 3 years... before something happens that will make him flee to London and take refuge with Dorian, who together with Red saves him from a very heavy beating.

Having said that, I thank you for waiting for me to recover from the virus that made me feel very ill this year and from which I have finally recovered.

I'm working on the third NSFW pinup from the Burlesque collection inspired by the Lady Marmelade video and I'm ready to tackle a very hard full page immediately after. In this page there isn't much BKG art because I focused more on the characters, the next one will be both, a lot of art and a lot of emotion!

oh my god, the mustache/whisker pinch is SUCH a clever idea

Jerbens thanks for point it out and commenting! In that era mens used to use hair and mustache pomade, Italians loved to keep their mustaches and treated them with pomade, as well as their hair. The fashion of the moment was the handlebar moustache, i.e. upturned, brought back into vogue today by hipsters 😆 To keep it up you needed pomade, Antonio is young but already feels like a man and try to leads them in handlebars style. Grandfather Elias has a thicker one because the handlebar mustache grows according to age. William doesn't usually groom whiskers but will wear them pinch when he plays Wilson.

This was a very cute page, Vanessa. :') What's very heartwarming is seeing Will's older brother acting like a father to him in so many ways. <3 Thank you for the awesome trivia facts about Italy again, and I look forward to seeing more of Will's background story in the future. :D By the way, I'm VERY happy to know you're feeling better, Vanessa. ^o^

Holy cheesecake. I never thought about that! William's sense of honor I can see he might have gotten from his brother. But his attitude towards women ... that sliped my mind. Did William stand alone in defending his brother's actions, whatever they might be? Was he just not exposed to the fairer sex in school and let misleading thoughts and ideas rule him? What in the world happened over at Le Rosey? Why did William start gambling, and why is he so bad at it? I guess time will tell. Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better, and I'm looking foward to what you have in store for us. :) When it comes to page 68, it's quite the bittersweet one. Some dialogue notes first though: "We're both gonna end in trouble!" I think you either meant, "We're both gonna end UP in trouble!" or "We're both gonna BE in trouble!" Both work, but the latter one sounds the best I think. "Defend and help of your family..." I think you can remove the "of" there. So it's just, "Defend and help your family..." "Take always care of our sisters." I think you got two words there swapped. Try, "Always take care of our sisters." "Sometime I won't be around." I'm not sure here if he means to say that "one day" he won't be around at all, or that he "sometimes" he won't be around. I think it's the former. "one day I won't be around." A rather foreboding thing to say... "Now go to sleep rascal!" This one works, but it seems there's a comma missing, since he's addressing William. It could also do with a "you" as well I think. So, "Now go to sleep, you rascal!" "But... were you leaving?" WHY are you leaving? Were are you GOING? Both work, but I'm not sure which one you mean. I prefer the latter one though. So then, good page. It feels like a good memory ... the last memory of a beloved brother. The final words, the last lie... I'm both exited and afraid to see the next page. Well done!

Thanks Erold! Perhaps it is not yet clear from chapter 1 of PBB-Next but from the Legacy E-books it is clear that William is indifferent, rude and irreverent towards women, with Mary he is also haughty and intolerant at certain moments. On the contrary, with Dorian he is very friendly, and also respectful towards Mr Blue, although he is a bizarre character William always shows him respect. He gets angry with Hans and George because he considers them weak and servile towards Betty, and for this he criticizes them. Yes, something certainly happened at Le Rosey but also at home... I know it! ;) Thanks for the lyric notes! As soon as G returns from his trip to the USA I will send him the correct pages to replace. Actually Antonio says "sometimes" because he can't tell a small child that one day he won't be here anymore, it would be too much. It has already happened that his father died, he cannot say to a child "one day I will no longer be here" or William would understand " I'll be dead" as his father, he must go to sleep peacefully.
