Brief description of my entry character for the contest:

My idea, for a mascot of a community of furry artists, was to create a 70/80 look character very free and joyful ^_^ Her rainbow tail represents the freedom rainbow flag (and also the colors of art). So, in 2004 I already tried to publicize the freedom with the rainbow flag symbol, before it became known as today. In PBB there are gay and bisexual characters, I have never hidden from being on the side of sexual freedom with my drawings and characters. But most important is the freedom to be (or not to be) a furry! :)

Now I wish to make a new drawing of Rachel with my style of today, 14 years later! What do you think? Should I redraw her? She's not more the mascot of Furbid, now she is mine again. XD

She is gorgeous! I would LOVE to see you draw more of her. I hope she will appear in BonBon, too, even if just a brief cameo now and again. :D

Wow~! She is so cute, Vanessa! X3 I can see now how Violet has some resemblance to Rachele. :) I LOVE her outfit! She embodies the 70's/80's style very well. ^-^ When you described why her tail was rainbow color I gotta say...I love your reason behind it. :D The rainbow color is a nice subtle message to it representing the rainbow flag. However, I was more taken away when you were talking about the freedom to be (or not to be) a furry. :o I'm not a furry myself, but I do think that Rachele does capture the spirit of, “it's okay to be a furry”. ^_^ On another note, Vanessa you have made one of the best Bi female characters in the comic history! ^o^ I’m referring to Betty and Violet. <3 I have only read the first two legacy comics and that’s it. I don’t know much about their background stories in dept. @_@ However, from what I read so far (from the two issues), they are well fleshed out characters. :) Better than any LGBT character that Marvel or DC comics could come up with. Lastly, I would LOVE to see you draw Rachel in your present day style! :DDD I can imagine that she would look even cuter if you redrew her. ≧◡≦ Again, only if you feel like (and have the time) drawing her, Vanessa. (✿◠‿◠)

In Bon Bon love is freedom and yes, Betty and Violet are BI, while Dorian is gay and there are also other secondary characters with different sexualities, for example Loucille is a trans. I would like to represent her as a Drag Queen in the reboot because I like the idea. She will not have her breasts rebuilt, so she will be natural. And then I would like to add a lesbian to the cast, who dresses like a man. I thought this chance when I designed the cover of issue # 13 entitled "Freedom", where girls also wear fake mustaches XD
