For those who followed the story of how I bought the cheapest car in whole the country and was trying to make something good out of it x)

This is how it went, with some real photos :) By today, it has passed all the registration process and tests, got the insurance, new number plates, and it is running okay. It's been quite a challenge to get to this stage x)

First, I had to do something with excess smoke and dirt everywhere, I cleaned the engine bay thoroughly, pulled the engine out and disassembled it to the last bolt. I've replaced the piston rings, the valves, crankshaft and piston connecting rod bearings, all the seals and gaskets, water pump, timing belt, valve seals and basically everything that was rubber, high voltage cord set and spark plugs, distributor, alternator, starter has been overhauled, new main radiator, one out of 4 engine mounting bushes, the injector nozzles have been pressure tested, new oxygen sensor, intake air sensor, all the liquids everywhere, cooling system washed with acid and so on. LOTS of work x)

Had to deal with the damage from reckless offroad by the previous owners - automatic tranny oil pan was bashed in, exhaust pipe mangled.. Replaced braking hoses and parking brake, one of the front axles drive shaft assembly, rear propeller shaft, front suspension ball joints, steering link and so on..

All the interior was pulled out to wash the body underneath it, a thick layer of dirt was covering everything under the plastic pannels. The seats were washed, the ceiling and floor mat.. All this to get rid of the STENCH, you know, that horrible mixture of old tobacco ash, "air fresheners" and dirt, it was so bad, you could smell it by standing a few meters away from the car outside x)

Well, that's it for now.. The car is clean inside and out, it's not pretty, there are still some minor issues left, but it's running okay and it's my daily drive now.  x) I hope it will help me get through the hard times.
