There was a 18+ picture with this dragoness, and she was a noname one-time random character at that point. I decided to give her personality, story and whole new art rather than finishing that old WIP( I will finish it later, though).

Sooo, Irida or Iri for short, is a river dragoness, but unlike the rest of her tribe, she doesn't chill at a riverbank all day, or chase fish, she came to like climbing and higher places of the world. Fearless and agile, with her nimble sharp claws, she has conquered the most difficult cliffs and met many new dragons. Easy-going, curious and cheerful person, she loves making new friends and hear their stories. Her favorite food is tropical fruit, she doesn't like fish much, and this is another unusual thing for a river tribe dragon.

Once Iri has finished her studies at home, she ran away and started a journey across the world, so many places to see, so many dragons to meet! 

River dragons are medium sized, with brightly colored fins across their bodies and various shades of green skin, a huge plume fin adorns their tail. They are distant cousins of sea dragons, but unlike the sea dragons, they've got no wings and no horns. The vast floodplain of the Eternal river is their home place, prospering on trade with the sea and fairy dragons of the south. Life among the tribe is calm and following many ancient traditions, monotonous even, "like the river flows" the elders say. The majority of learning course at school for younglings consists of reading the endless inscribed shells with legends and memorizing the traditions and many rules - used to be the most boring thing in the world for little Irida, who has always been a nuisance for her teachers, running away or making small mischief all the time. The other students liked her, though, and laughed at her jokes, she has always been a leader of a small band of bright fins and curious noses, but she couldn't convince anyone of her friends to follow her and see the world once they all got older. 

One day, she wrote letter on a sea shell, put it under the bed of her uncle, the only family she had, and left the peaceful sleeping village, never to return. At some distance, a huge sea dragon awaited her, he has agreed to carry the young river dragoness to the other side of Moon Bay and over the swamps on that side - a quite dangerous and nasty place, in exchange of some rare river pearls the Iri gathered using her skills and knowledge. During their flight and time together, the big sea dragon has told her of latest rumors. There was something eerie brewing in the world lately, strange new creatures seen in the depths of the ocean, the Earth dragons had to abandon their watchposts at the Rift and move back to fortified line. The big sea dragon tried and tried to talk Irida out of leaving the safety of floodplains, but she was stubborn and determined, she told him that if he would not help, she would go anyways, on her four paws, across the swamp. Thus, Iri's journey has begun.
