Have you ever, or would you be willing to, depicted the scalie ladies with cloaca instead of humanoid genitals?

Kodar

I think I had done that once or twice for commission work, but personally I dislike cloaca and horizontal lizard-ish slit, up to the point it's a "boner killer" for me x) This is highly unlikely to appear in my personal artwork, sorry x) I'm actually pretty sure the real dragons would have evolutionary advanced digestive and reproduction systems rather than primitive ones like cloaca, with vertical slit, because they don't crawl like the reptiles do. There is a reason, why horizontal slit or any other form of genitalia exists, defined by body shapes, skeleton and muscle masses, movement kinematics and how the tissue folds and layers naturally form, natural selection tricks and available mating positions... That's why all the mammals have got quite similar genitalia, this is not humanoid-only design... The mammals are the only form of life on this planet which runs fast on vertical four legs and also have got the most evolutionary advanced anatomy and most developed brain at the same time, this is what evolution has come to... I believe, the dragons should be high up these tiers too, if not even more advanced than the mammals.. This is just my opinion and my nerdy reasons for the design I use, when speaking of fairytale creatures, there can not be any rules, everyone is free to make up whatever dragons they like, with any sort of genitalia they find attractive, I'm only saying all this to tell people there actually is some thinking and logic, rather than aesthetical preference only :)

I can understand that. Another question for you, if you don't mind. How on earth do you create such insane detail such as the coat of the stallion in the well stuffed lioness. Do you have any tips or resources you could impart on aspiring artists?

I wish to have tea with this ness!
