Chernobyl is an awesome Miniseries. You were asking about other miniseries to watch. I highly recommend 1883. It is a prequel to Yellowstone but you don’t have to watch Yellowstone to watch this. If you didn’t know it was a Yellowstone prequel you would think it is its own individual series as well. Great acting leads with Sam Elliott (won Best Actor for this miniseries at the Screen Actor Guild Awards this year this year) and Tim McGraw as well. Both give terrific performances. Also has some great cameos from A-list film and television actors in it as well.

For something shorter, I'd recommend will watch this when i can get home tonight, saw the first few episodes a few years ago but never finished it. For shorter series id highky recommend the shows Galavant or Jericho. Galavant is a medieval musical comedy with only 18 episodes. It has some of the funniest most messed songs and stories. Here's the trailer https://youtu.be/ayzw6htpi2Yr Jericho is a post apocalyptic drama and one of my all time favorites. This Prodigal returns home just in time for a mushroom cloud to appear on the horizon and they come to fund most major cities have been hit. I know it's longer but you should really check out Downtown Abbey, it's a period drama about British nobility and their servants, it opens with the sinking of the titanic. Just brilliant story, writing acting, cinematography and all around drama.

The radiation can be spread by the irradiated people through bodily fluids but it is diluted. Radiation sickness does take some time. The people severely effected in this episode came in contact with the actual core or were injured from the explosion with the radiation on top of this. You will gain a lot of knowledge in the next episode as the professor (the guy from the beginning) starts explaining things and by the end of the show you will understand a lot they give us the info as the main characters learned it. 95% of the people in this are real they at times consolidated people and events for time and clarity but this show is very focused on actual events. After watching the show check out Chernobyl the Lost Tapes on HBO it’s a documentary that answers more questions and shows stuff that didn’t get focus on the show that makes it even worse.

I vote for Band of Brothers for a future show especially since the third series in that WW2 trilogy is coming out soon
