I love this series! So happy to see y'all have started watching it! No matter how many times I watch this movie, the ending sequences always give me chills.

Also! Some trivia regarding character names. When the characters had been taken by WCKD, they were not only stripped of their identities, but even their given names, the names that they remember were even given to them by WCKD before going into the Maze Trials. These new names were meant to be reflections of some of the greatest minds of the "Old World" before the Scorch and the Flare Virus. I believe in the Maze Runner book, Thomas gave 3 examples: Alby is for Albert Einstein, Newt is for Issac Newton, and Thomas is for Thomas Edison. Chuck is for Charles Darwin, and Gally is for Galileo Galilei.
