I would also say that Aang not killing Ozai is quite powerful when you think about how this man represents the complete destruction of Aang's entire home & culture. So the fact that as a child Aang can turn around & show Ozai that he could still win while honouring he's air nomads teachings when Ozai was so insistent in he's belife that the nomads way of life (aka peace, forgiveness, mercy & compassion) not only made them weak but fundamentally inferior to the "winners" of the world (aka the fire nation) & as he explained while fighting Aang, simply undeserving of existence in "he's" world. Aang had lost almost every other connection to he's culture but he didn't let Ozai take this from him. He remained a true air bender till the end. So excited about the finale. honestly its one of the best written finales for a tv show and I love it.
