I definitely like the longer conversations for sure. Theres so much stuff to talk about this season. Matt is just throwing himself down a self destructive path, especially if he's actually considering killing Fisk. Father Lantom said in the first season "When the Righteous succumb to sin, it is as harmful as the public well being poisoned." Him becoming a killer would spell doom for a lot of people. Because Matt is a good person, we've seen that. He has such a strong belief in people, now that it's tarnished, it's very dangerous. Fisk being put in a penthouse I think just is a breeding ground for more of his machinations. While he might be helping now, when the time comes for Vanessa to come home and he gets what he wants.... he will easily be able to hook the FBI on his finger. Oh boy... Poindexter. 😅 I absolutely love the actor playing him. I'm not a psychiatrist, but he shows some characteristics of psychopaths or sociopaths. He comes off as very charming, a great smile, and knows how to convince people, but that isn't how he actually feels inside. He crosses HARD boundaries, and seems to think of it as normal social interaction. Like he copied the girls smile she made and eats the same pizza she does. Generally, people who can't fit in like that will mimic what they see because they don't know how to feel and act themselves in an acceptable manner. I definitely pity him, because that behavior doesn't come from nowhere. He's either had some really traumatic experiences that led to some unhealthy coping mechanisms, or he mightve also been born with it, in which case its not his fault that no one taught him healthy ways to behave.
