I'm with Stella, this is my favorite of all Christmas movies! My family makes an event of watching it every year, and the songs usually start getting stuck in my head around Halloween. I'm so glad you guys enjoyed it too!! It's just so wholesome and uplifting, while also staying remarkably faithful to the novel and the time period. If you're interested in checking out more Muppets after the holidays, I'd highly recommend doing Muppet Treasure Island next. Because if Michael Caine is a perfect Scrooge, then Tim Curry is an equally perfect Long John Silver! One last note, just to show how much thought they put into every little detal.: Jacob &amp; Robert Marley. Robert Marley = Bob Marley. It took me over 20 years to catch that reference!

This is my favorite Muppet movie, but Scrooged is my favorite Christmas Carol movie.

What a wonderful reaction to one of my favorite Christmas classics. I loved how into it you all were, and it tickled me how Stella was bouncing in her seat with excitement. Loved it. You four need to watch The Great Muppet Caper. That's my favorite Muppet movie, and it's just a lot of fun. It has nothing to do with Christmas, so it's a movie you can watch anytime, but if you do watch it, I'd suggest getting it in as close after this one as you can so the Muppets and the gags they use for certain characters (like the way the Sweedish Chef acts and talks, Miss Piggy's pension for over-dramatizing and spunkiness, and the way Gonzo seems to like getting hurt) is fresh in your minds. I think you'd all really get a kick out of it.

I'm so happy you all watched this! It's my favorite Christmas movie. If you want more Muppets may I suggest A Muppet Treasure Island.
