Ok, so confession time: I read this first book at the recommendation of a friend when I was like 15, back before they were super popular. And I still stand by the fact that the first book, on its own, is not bad. Reading the first half of it for the first time without knowing what was going on was more like a mystery, slowly piecing together the clues to figure out what was up with Edward and his family. And from what I remember, he's way less creepy in the book (apart from the whole watching her sleep thing, obviously). But the real reason I loved the first book as a teenager (the other books are not great, in my opinion) was the Cullens! Each of their characters (other than Rosalie) were so lovable in their own way, that I just wanted to be part of their family. They really are more like superheroes. They each have a special ability based on their personality or skills from when they were human (Edward can read minds, Alice can see the future, Emmett is super strong, Jasper can sense and manipulate other people's emotions, etc.) And I'm glad Carlisle is finally getting the love he deserves, because he has always been my favorite. Haha. Anyways, that was a lot of fun...even though the movie version is pretty terrible. Glad you guys seemed to have fun too. Also...about the car sliding in the parking lot...he wasn't drifting in the parking lot...there's this funky thing up north called ice... :) I never realized that they didn't actually explain that in the dialog and that people from a place where it doesn't get as cold might not understand what happened.

Every time someone on YT does the reaction for Twighlight, I can't help but remember what Alex Meyers the movie reviewer on YT said about this movie, "he's stole his sister's body glitter lotion". ✨️ ✨️✨️. Hahaha 😆. His famous 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 🥁🥁🥁📯📯📣📣📣🎺🎺🎺🎺 parade, every time Edward does something creepy like watching Bella sleep. Which is.....😳

This was such a fun reaction! These books really were a product of the time, not gonna lie! I was obsessed with them when they came out! I like the movies, but this first one is really cringe, and its seriously hard for me to rewatch it now. They get a little better with each one, but the entertainment value will definitely be there for you guys!

I actually looooved the books, because you see Edwards and Bella's connection build in a less awkward way (I think the fact that the actors didn't like each other played a lot in the awkwardness lol) and it feels less "slow", and there is a lot of good moments not included in the movies. I actually didn't like the movies because I felt like they ruined the books in a lot of ways xD
