Kyyyyyyooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! YES! You guys are 1-2 episodes from this show from popping OFF! Give me more like RIGHT NOW PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also the only tip I will give is that you guys keep thinking about it from a logical rational point, start thinking from a more "mystical/supernatural" point. Yeeee!

This episode was so good :) Thanks for the reactions guys. It's always fun to hear your thoughts and theories.

Everlark4Ever

It's all aboard the truma train sadly. While it dose seem naive of Tohru to think that anything involving Akito could possibly be good there is the fact that she (unlike us viewers) doesn't actually know just how bad he is yet as the others don't reveal thier complete backstories to her (Yuki is monologuing practically every episode but he doesn't actually say the majority of that stuff outloud so she's stuck doing a lot of guess work) but if it makes you feel better there is a scene in the manga after Kyo leaves the summer house where Tohru thinks about how Kyo finally being invited might not actually be such a good thing after all & that Akito might be a source of fear to Kyo like he is to Yuki & if that's the case then she'll pray that he comes back safe & later there's even a very brief panal (no dialogue & her face is turned away from the reader) showing her, from Kyo's POV, feeling down & then trying to force herself to cheer up so she can keep working on their sandcastle. Sorry to dissapoint you but the magic "tentacles" of doom were not in the manga. Other than that the episode was a fantastic portrayal of this part of the story & had me loosing it when it first came out, especially Kyo's confession, subsequent denial of said feelings, he's exceptance of utter isolation & he's later thoughts about not desserving to live, like I know everything in the Sohma clan sucks but they really be making my boy suffer this episode & for the episode to end with him taking her hand to walk back together while secretly giving up on having any kind of happiness after graduation is so heartbreaking. Also I don't think any term of endearment/analogy has ever made my heart sing & cry more than the flower line like Kyo come on you're raising my standards too high 😭💘👏. Gotta give props to Kazuma for being one of the only Sohma adults that's actually good at being a parent. I think Yuki thinks that acting subservant to Akito (even though that's no longer how he actually feels) is thier best shot right now & stopping Akito from completely loosing it again. Ooh your theroise are so juicey but all I can promise is that next episode is gonna be a doozy lol.
