I really like the Nekoma OVAs too, and I don't really understand why people say to skip it, since its manga canon. Plus I love Nekoma and Fukurodani :) So i'm glad you watched and liked it. You propably didn't pick up on it, which is understandable since it's been so long ago, but in season 2 during the BBQ at the end of the trainingcamp, Kuroo was talking about the top 3 aces. One of them being Sakusa from Itachiyama Institute, and Itachiyama being one of the favourites to win Spring Nationals. At the end of the OVA you just saw a glimpse of Sakusa spiking and Itachiyama winning first place in Tokyo. I'm sooo excited for season 4. It's probably my favourite season storywise.
