This movie gets waaaaay too much of a bad rap. Just cause it's not the first Avengers don't mean it's not good. Enjoy!

I quite like this movie and I feel like my oppinion of it was a lot better after I was able to see it in terms of its place in the MCU. Its certainly necessary to the overall story. At the time when it came out I feel like a lot of people didn't know where the story was going and where expecting to get down to business with Thanos.

This one is very underrated and it's actually important for the entire MCU, the introductions of Wanda and Vision is important, their visions are important, I think the action is really good, it's nice seeing them together more and not bickering as much, they actually feel like more of a team, I think James Spader was perfect as Ultron, they focus on Hawkeye more which was sadly slacking in the first Avengers movie since he was being controlled by Loki most of the time. Also it's hard to believe during this whole movie Scarlet was pregnant, a lot of the time it was before she was showing but when she did they hid her belly, CGI her belly or had a double which you can't even tell! And it has probably one of the best scenes of any of the movies and that's the party scene, them just hanging out as friends to them all trying to pick up the hammer! They all feel so real in that scene and it makes you want to be there and hang out with them too! I could just watch them talk and joke around for 2 hours and want more! They all know their characters so well by now that they could play them in their sleep!

I was so-so on this movie for a long time. The more distance I got from it, the more I liked it. It's the fulcrum of the Avengers saga - pushes characters into place for the rest of it. And then... WandaVision truly made it shine.

I honestly enjoyed the film quite a bit. The only personal nit-picky thing I don't like is that they killed Von Struker off-screen without him doing much as well as (effectively) killing Hydra as a threat, but that's just me because I like them as villains.

I don't hate the movie, but it definitely has its disappointing parts to it. Like it was incredibly anticlimactic in the beginning with getting the scepter. The shots were well done and it was a lot of fun to watch, but getting rid of Struker was... Not really done the way I'd expected. I sort of thought he'd have a bit bigger of a role to play tbh. And the romance between Natasha and Banner?...no. Just... No. If they're gonna give her a love interest, build it up. Just suddenly having it be a thing just doesn't make sense and it doesn't work for me. She had absolutely no chemistry with him in any other movie, nothing had been hinted at. As a fan of the comics, I had lowkey been hoping that she'd somehow have a love interest in Bucky tbh 😂 or Steve, because in TWS, there was definitely the beginning of a build up of chemistry. I loved the introduction of Wanda and Pietro, though I wish we could've gotten more of him. But I can see how his death was maybe a necessary thing in order to push Wanda's arc forward. All that said, it really wasn't the worst MCU movie, The Hulk definitely takes that spot by far.

Wanda the best character <3 LOVE HER

It was probably a problem with the Peter of X-men. Disney didn't own Fox yet. So they get the right to use him to build Wanda but maybe have to kill him.

This movie is my second favorite Marvel film ever. I just love the fact that we got to see a bit more into the mind of the characters and not just see them as superheroes but see them as humans. Ultron is one of my favorite villains and it's interesting how in a sense Tony was kinda the villain of this movie. In this movie, I personally completely understand Tony's point of view and I actually agree more with him, that they should have precautions set in place just in case another alien invasion happens. However, he lets his paranoia control him, which causes him to go a step too far. I think if he was a bit more clearheaded and he relayed his thoughts and concerns with the team, things would've been better.

I really like this movie in hindsight because it set up a lot of important things to come later. It also really brought the infinity stone saga into play front and center. It is now clear that 4 of these 6 stones have shown up recently and they are important, bringing together all the previous storylines. And I personally enjoyed learning more about Clint and his motivations. People tend to overlook him as an Avenger, but his wife is right — they need him and his humanity to help round out the team. James Spader as Ultron, of course, is creepy and menacing and bone chilling.

Honestly, I didn't like this movie either when it was first released. But, perhaps it's because I've seen everything in the MCU thus far, especially Wandavision, that I actually have loved this movie the last couple of times I've watched it. Like the first Avengers is untouchable for how ballsy it was to be the first in its line-up, but this is just as equal for me now.
