It's hard to believe that they actually made it out alive and that this actually happened . The movie is based on Jim Lovell's book about the incident and his experience in it . Such a great cinematic masterpiece in film making and storytelling .

I remember going to see this one with my friends in high school, and it was instant favorite. I'm so glad you watched it! If you haven't already, you should look up how they filmed the zero gravity scenes. Pretty awesome. =D
