I was waiting (not patiently) for this episode. Couldn’t wait to see your reaction to Nell in the car with Shirley and Theo. Worth the wait guys. You did not disappoint 👏🤣👏🤣👏

I totally shit myself as well! I think that was the best jump scare of any movie or TV show I have ever seen. They just draw you in so deep with the sister fight. You just can’t see it coming. And the fact that the reason for it is obviously to scare you but it was Nell trying to get them to STOP fighting. It had a bigger purpose beyond a cheap scare. Beautifully done. 👏👏👏

I saw a reaction of this episode and the lady watching got so scared she burst into giant sobbing tears.

I love that there's so much ambiguity about the different possible sources of the various things they witness -- both the natural (mental illness, memory, guilt, trauma) and the supernatural (ghosts, house-induced hallucinations, time-bending premonitions). And there's not one cause, the different things they see are implied to be caused by a variety or even combination of these factors. Very cool and mind-bending.

I watched this on my laptop laying down, the car scene made me kick the laptop up and it smashed into my face. Gold man, gold.

So remember when Luke just got his 90 days chip and was talking about when he was a kid he was waiting for his mom to come back because he didn't believe she was dead? Yeah, he said that every car that came would give him hope and that the (red) headlight from the back of the leaving cars would take the hope away, which is why the house was red, taking his hope away. Also the jump scare scene was the real reactions of the actresses playing Theo and Shirley. They still had more dialogue to do and the director told Nell's actress to do it without their knowledge. One last thing, I didn't like Steve at the beginning but after I saw that first scene in the episode I started to despise him! As someone who really want kids of my own, what he did was disgusting and so selfish I can't with him. By the way, I think a vasectomy can be reversed, not sure. Also, adopting is not something that can resolve the problem since not everyone can care and take care of kids that are not their own. By the way sorry if it's confusing, English is not my first language.

Was it Blindwave? Melanie just full on sobbed and I felt bad for laughing for a minute.

Just a bit of trivia since you said your favorite was Hugh in this one. The actor playing the older Hugh, Timothy Hutton, won an oscar when he was in his early 20s (I think, or may have been late teen). Great movie Ordinary People (1980). It made him the youngest winner at that time in history.
