No, Voldemort didn't know about the twin cores, that's why he kidnapped Ollivander at the beggining of Half-Blood Prince and tortured him so he would tell him about it. About the Godric's Hollow scene: Voldemort killed Bathilda and put Nagini inside her body because he knew Harry would probably go there, and when everything went down Voldemort went there and saw the picture of Grindelwald so he then investigated until he found him

Great job guys! The wand chooses the wizard, you can use anyone else's wand but if you haven't earned their loyalty they don't work as well for you. Harry's wand was destroyed during the Nagini battle so he is uses wands grabbed off snatches until the end of this movie where he has the wand he grabbed off Malfoy. Harry and Voldemort did have twin wands, the Phoenix gave two feathers and each of their wands were made from one. The wands would defend against each other. This is what Voldemort wanted to know when he had ollivander kidnapped. Way back in the first movie when Harry found his first chocolate frog card he got Dumbledore and on that card it said Dumbledore was known for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindlewald. Grindelwald was the owner of the elder wand when Dumbledore defeated him making Dumbledore the owner of the elder wand. One scene I really wish they had left in the movies is when Harey and Hermione go to Godrics Hollow and see the Potter House, in the book the fence outside is COVERED with messages to Harry telling him to keep going and they are behind him. The snake in the house was Nagini. Bathilda Bagshot is dead and Voldemort left Nagini in her place to wait for Harry to show up. The minister of Magic had a specific limit of time to bestow the inheritances from Dumbledore. The time was almost up. The order doesn't trust the ministry knowing they have been infiltrated by death eaters which means they aren't being told what Harry is doing. They were trying to decide what significance if any each of the items had. Luna had painted a mural of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Neville on her ceiling with the word friends on it. Really heart warming. You really see the Malfoy family devolving the longer they are in Voldemort's presence. Their house has basically been taken over. And no, you hadn't seen the muggle studies teacher before. The one voldemort killed at the beginning. The beginning where they were gathering at Harry's house, that was eldest brother Bill Weasley who married Fleur from Goblet of fire. Also Tonks and Lupin were there. They have gotten married and Tonks made a comment saying wait till you hear the news. The news they didn't show was that she was pregnant with their child who had since been born. His name is Teddy and they named Harry Godfather. In the books Lupin tries to go with the trio but Harry in a very stern way tells him that his father would not have appreciated Lupin abandoning his child to follow Harry and that Harry having grown up without parents was very disappointed in Lupin for wanting to do the same to Teddy. He told him that Lupins place was at home. Period. Also wanted to clarify the reason they went to the Black house is that Harry actually owns it. Sirius willed everything to Harry. So Harey owned the house and Kretcher the house Elf which was why when he demanded Kretcher answer Hermione, Kretcher had to obey. In the books Kretcher has a truly lovely story arc. He becomes a proper house Elf and actually took good care of the trio while they were there. He begged Harry to let him hit Mundangus with a pan. Quite a funny book scene. Dumbledore did give the cloak to Harry in book 1 but it wasn't his. It belonged to James Potter. Albus has spent his early years obsessed with the deathly hallows and thought James cloak may be the hallows cloak. That said there are other invisibility cloaks. They are rare but not unheard of. The rest of the answers will have to wait because I don't want to spoil anything you will learn later.

Very enjoyable, as always. It's gonna be sick watching your final reaction. Mj, above, covered most of it. I only want to add that I think Dobby had to be gotten rid of before the end. As he said, "Dobby will always be there for Harry Potter", and seeing how powerful he was, he might have affected the final outcome of the story. 'nuf said.

Suzanne Austen

Harry is the descent of Ignotis Peverell, the third brother who got the invisibility cloak, it started at Ignotis and was passed down through Sons until it got to Harrys dad, who passed it to Harry through Dumbledore before he died

Suzanne Austen

About the wands. You can either win a wand from someone or just take their wand. The wand can either change allegiance (it will then listen and work properly for who uses it) or when the wand is used, it will not work properly and won't have the same effect as your own wand (hence when Harry got the wand Ron gave him the spell worked stronger than he intended). The wand Lucius had that was given to Voldemort, didn't want to work with Voldemort and so it didn't work properly, causing the wand to crack when in a duel with Harry

whitenoisereacts

I agree. I do wish they had spent a little more time on him throughout the series. I think a few of you guys said he was cut out of a movie or two and I think that’s a shame. It rlly would have made the ending to this movie that much more powerful if I had spent some more time with him

Anders Johansen

Btw. the thing that happened to Ron when they fled the ministry.. If you disapparate without proper concentration or preparation you run the risk of getting "splinched". You leave a part of yourself behind or it ends up somewhere else. Because Hermione had to immediately disapparate when they very brifly appeared in Grimhauld Place she didn't have time to properly prepare for the next location. So Ron got splinched. That's why we haven't seen aparition before - you have to have a license which you accuire at year 6 at Hogwarts. That part were not in the movies however.

Love your reactions, can't wait for part two next week! Can you imagine having to wait an entire year to see the last movie?! A few things you might be wondering about: 1) Pius (the new Minister of Magic) is under the Imperius curse, and therefore not in charge of his decisions. 2) The Elder Wand is the most powerful wand in the world, that's why Voldemort wants it and not necessarily because of the Deathly Hallows thing, but pretty cool that Dumbledore's had it for all 7 movies :) 3) The Snitch (the Quidditch ball Harry got) said "I open at the close". Can't wait for next week :)

whitenoisereacts

MJ, you have outdone yourself again LOL. So Harry owns the Black house, but why didn't Snape of Voldi check the house or anything like that??

whitenoisereacts

DreadKyler isn’t that kinda not up to the person though? Cause what if a sucky wand just chooses them? Like that would be terrible

Suzanne Austen

There is not such thing as a sucky wand, if a wand chooses you then it means that the wand will think you are worthy and it will work perfectly for you, but theres not much it can do if the owner of the wand is sucky themselves

Christian Zwisler

Ginny was downplayed like hell in the movies, as they have to cut movies short. Ginny played a way bigger part in the books

Christian Zwisler

U should consider reading them. And i get it, if you're not a fan of books, i am neither. Read them tho, but to get back on track... U can just listen to the audiobooks instead. Same thing u know. :D Listen to it during work hours or in your down time doing the dishes or whatever. Its so god damn captivating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

whitenoisereacts

That’s a pretty good pitch ngl. I’ll have to check them out, maybe do noon reviews or something like that

Hi I’ve been watching and subbed to your Patreon for these videos since im a HUGE potter head . But to put things as simple as possible, harry is a descendent to the first owner of the hallows and so is Voldemort. Harry’s grandfather got the cloak and Voldemort’s got the stone. The wand was past around different families since people are taking it left and right. To be able to own a wand you have to win it from the last owner of the wand. Disarm, kill, etc. and as a young boy, Dumbledore was in search for the hallows for the power because Dumbledore is or was obsessed with power. To explain the fight in the beginning when harry destroyed the wand Voldemort was using, in the books it was said that what harry shot was golden flames. Confusing but harry didn’t do it on purpose, there are theories saying that it was an instinct forming back from the protection that his mom gave him when she sacrificed herself but that along with the trace vanished once he turned 17. It does have a lot to do with the wands being twins but in that moment it didn’t since he was still protected by his mom. Love your reactions, keep it up. Im going to start watching other reactions to different movies since you guys are just so awesome and really take in every bit of the movie which is something i love. Theres so much more to explain but it ties in with the other movie so once that releases, i will definitely be back and explain some more. Hope this helped if you read it. Much love enjoy the rest of the films

I deeply dislike Ron throughout the entire series. In the books he is horribly verbally abusive to Hermione, he makes her cry almost every year. In the movies he is not as bad to her, but still.
