Hi, I don't know if you'll see this, but anyway, as a french girl I can tell you that Voldemort comes from french (J.KRowling studied french for a very long time) and it litteraly means "steal of death" (or double meaning with "flight of death" haha). So for us french I guess it was easy to understand that he wanted to be immortal since the beginning by killing everyone who would step on his way (with flight of death) but like always great reaction guys :)

unforgivable promise :D haha that made me laugh

Of all the films, this is the worst in terms of faithfully adapting the book. If you read the books and get to this one, you'll be shocked at how much they changed or cut entirely.

id say goblet of fire is the worst at adapting the book

so a portkey is an enchanted object that takes you to a predetermined location, like how they teleported to the quidditch world cup camp in GoF. apparating is basically just teleporting to whatever place you are concentrating on. you have to be 17 to do it and they spend time in the books teaching all the 6th years how to do it. if you remember in the last movie Fred and George kept on apparating and popping in on harry and rons conversations from nowhere. thats cause they were going into their 7th year and just learned how to do it. also, in the books, nobody can apparate inside of Hogwarts, not even Dumbledore, so they had to walk down to Hogsmeade past the enchantive barrier to get to the cave and back.

So the cave Dumbledore took Harry to find the horcrux we saw in the orphanage with Tom as a photo. The horcrux they found is a fake. And RAB has been mentioned before.

Oh and there's a deleted scene that I really think should've been left in. When Harry leads Dumbledore from the cave he tells Dumbledore not to worry. To which Dumbledore replies Oh im not worried Harry, I'm with you.

The reason Snape named himself the half-blood prince is because his father is a muggle and his mom was a witch. So he grew with one magical parent.

This was my favorite book. It was just a wealth of information and tremendous backstory for Tom Riddle/Voldie. I’m exhausted and am going to watch your reaction tomorrow if I can. Even though they left our over half the book, I actually still really enjoyed this one. I love the somber tone created by the filter throughout (on top of the subject matter of course). Looking forward to checking out your reaction 😊

Um...don’t know if I’ll see this??? Dude do u know how cool it is to know that somebody all the way in frikin France is watching our vids? THATS SO AWESOME! (Also...thanks, that is a cool explanation)

whitenoisereacts

That’s interesting. I would’ve liked more backstory. As of now I like Voldie as a villain but I do think he’s lacking some depth and backstory that would really make him amazing

Fenrir Greyback is a werewolf, he was in Borgin & Burkes at the beginning when Draco was first taken in to look at the vanishing cabinet. He is ruthless and primarily attacks children. He wanted to build an army of werewolves to overthrow the wizard world. He was the one who turned Lupin to get back at Lupins father for saying all werewolves deserved death. He is pure evil.

So do they cover all this history in the books? Or is it like lore in interviews and what not? Cause all u guys always comment about different connections and history with characters who you barely see in the movies.
