I'm so glad I found you guys lol you somehow manage to be a combination of both intelligent enough yet also unknowledgeable enough about the series to make your reactions so entertaining and worthwhile. Despite being a Harry Potter fan for years, I'm not confident to share my thoughts, so I'll just continue to enjoy watching you guys unfurl more of this story. All I'll say is the books have a lot of answers to the questions you have, but the next movies will be a great ride as well.

Suzanne Austen

If you listen properly in the past courtroom scene, Igor says that Barty Crouch Jr along with 2 other death eaters took part in using the Crucio curse (torturing curse) on the Auror Frank Longbottom and his wife, which are Nevilles parents and thats why he reacted that way in class

whitenoisereacts

By Bellatrix yeah? At least we find that out next movie.

JIM SCHMITZ

Yes, there's a school in America. I imagine this whole series like watching a plant grow. Everything opens up, expands, and weaves back on itself. Sometimes I worry that you're reacting to something for so long that you miss a reveal that comes next. Don't worry, someone will explain in the comments so you can keep up. I, too, adore LOTR, so, go for it. One thing I would ask is that you add subtitles so we don't have to turn up the volume for the dialogue, because then, when you talk, it's too loud. LOVE your reactions!

whitenoisereacts

Subtitles on the next one, it's just that cause we are a week ahead it takes us a minute for ur guys advice to show up in the videos lol

i love your channel! i thought i'd let you know that at the end when dumbledore says "priori incantatem" after harry revealed he saw his parents in the graveyard, dumbledore is referring to an effect that occurs when two wands that have magical cores deriving from the same source are used against each other. one or the other of the wands is forced to regurgitate the last spells that it was used to cast, in this case voldemort's wand was last used to kill harry's parents, the muggle groundskeeper that was shown in the beginning walking in on voldemort, wormtail, and barty crouch jr. and lastly cedric diggory. also, voldemort kind of vaguely reveals that the "old magic" that was used on that night harry's parents were killed was harry's mother sacrificing her life to save harry.

Ahhh crazy few days. Finally get to watch this today! Then I can word purge all over your poor page lol. Hey quick question on the side: Are you guys still considering a $5 tier possibility for unedited being released alongside early access? Just curious - have to ask! 😊 Really looking forward to watching this once I get settled in!

whitenoisereacts

Yes I’m working on that now. Just have to get ahead with my editing, and since it’s just me doing it it takes a minute lol

Elshkatien

hi, for the next few harry potter films could you maybe upload a link to the unedited, just reaction with no movie along with the normal videos? this would allow me to watch the full movie along side you with my own copy of the movie so I don't have to listen to the distorted audio of the movie, a few other reaction channels do this and it works really well, all you would have to do is make a count down of "start the movie in 3...2...1..go" and its all good to go. Thanks for your consideration.

whitenoisereacts

Yeah. ok. Let me say what I can do. I should be able to get a timecode up as well. Let me see what I can do brother.

Elshkatien

thanks very much, am looking forward to the next few movies very !!!

You guys are absolutely right about the minor characters in the series. It was of course even more extensive in the books, but they did it very well in the films too. Even in limited screen time, we as viewers become attached and do get to experience growth of everyone in the universe. Apologies if anything I say is a repeat - I'm late to this viewing party this week lol. I definitely saw your questions about international schools as well as the wand connection at the end explained. The scene in the start with the unforgivable curses is so well done. It's super uncomfortable and the intensity is palpable. It's really disturbing too, once you find out that Barty Crouch Jr. was one of the people who tortured Neville's parents into insanity....almost like he was getting off on forcing him to be the one to deal with that specific curse. Just messed up. Interesting fact that never made it into the film is about the pain in the ass journalist, Rita Skeeter. She's actually an unregistered animagus (just like James, Sirius, and Peter all were). She can turn into a small beetle and that's how she gets all of her information. They allude to it very very lightly in the film and you guys even mentioned it once ("How did she know that?")...Hermione figured it out in the book and actually sort of blackmailed her by the end lol. About the second part of the tournament, in the lake. Nah, none of the people taken would have died. It was jacked, for sure, but that's actually something that's semi joked about in the books. I think it was Hermione who said something to Harry like "You don't honestly think Dumbledore would let innocent kids die----etc etc". I'm paraphrasing, but just so you know. Contestants have died in the past (and obviously in this go as well), but the ones taken didn't volunteer, so it wouldn't be kosher for their lives to actually be at risk. The ministry is the magical government by the way. You guys made a query about them being the police and no, it's really their entire government (every country has their own). Aurors on the other hand, now that's a profession similar to the police. "Dark wizard catchers" they call them, casually. The real character, Moody, was an infamous one (how he lost his eye and leg). As always, the books had so much more. This one in particular is one of the largest in the series. I don't want to give you guys a ton of it, in case either of you (or both) do ever end up reading them, but there was no way to get to all the goodies. My favorite obstacle in the maze, for instance, was a Sphynx who wouldn't let you pass without the correct answer to a riddle. Other things I know one or two people on here have mentioned are prominent sub-plots revolving around racism. We know Hagrid is half giant (and yes, the Headmistress from the French school is part giant as well), but the blonde girl and her sister are also mixed with a different race detailed in the book as well, known as a Veela. One of the most interesting portions of this book was regarding House Elves and their persecution and enslavement. We actually see a bunch of Dobby in this book. Hint: the food that magically appears at every meal doesn't just appear out of thin air lol. Hermione actually devotes a huge portion of her time to advocating for House Elves....Just so much great stuff. Can't wait to watch the next one!

Great job guys! There were times I thought they have seen this before because they are guessing way too much and then from the time Harry and Cedric were portkeyed to the graveyard on I knew you hadn't. Just watching the horror on your faces as things played out made it pretty clear. So Voldemort did explain what happened. He said when Lilly Potter put herself between Voldemort and Harry it covered Harry with old magic of love that protected him. Essentially Harry's blood tie to his mother's sacrifice was why Voldemort couldn't touch him. However his spell to regain a body included Harry's blood so that is no longer a problem. As to the thing with the wand it was prior incantartem, essentially the last few spells Voldemort had cast replayed sending "ghosts" of Cedric, the muggle at the beginning of the movie and Harry's parents out and allowing Harry to see them. Lastly you were asking why everyone was being so rude to Harry. It is a two fold answer. 1. He wasn't old enough to compete so there was jealousy and anger that he got in somehow. The other answer is that Cedric was a Hufflepuff who get very little credit so for one of ours (I'm a puff) to be picked as the Hogwarts champion was huge. In the books it is made really clear that only fellow Gryffindors and really only after the first task supported Harry. The rest of the school was being Cedric feeling like he was robbed.

Hi. I just joined your channel! <3 LOVE YOUR REACTIONS! and you show so much respect for the franchise which I like a lot. I look forward to follow you in the future. Kind regards from Denmark :-)

Welcome brother!! Thanks for the global love man. We got tons of stuff coming so I hope you enjoy!

I’m having so much fun watching your reactions! This movie as well as its source book is the midpoint of the entire series. The series is written in a ring structure, a not uncommon literary device. Each book is a ring, with the entire series being a larger ring. One little example of how each book is a ring is the fact that Harry begins each book at the Dursley‘s and returns back there at the end of each book, with the exception of the final book. There is a lot more to the ring structure than that, but I wanted try and provide an example to get the concept across. Therefore it is fitting that the midpoint of the larger ring of the entire series would include Voldemort’s resurrection. The ceremony was supposed to be representative of a black mass, with a total inversion of the ceremony of the Eucharist.

Yeah it is super creepy. But I liked that. There is nothing wrong showing evil as evil, even though some people are super sensitive about that stuff
